As a Motion Graphic Designer in an advertising agency, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging motion graphics, animations, and video content that effectively communicate the agency’s clients’ messages. You will collaborate closely with the creative team, including art directors, graphic designers, and copywriters, to bring concepts to life and deliver high-quality visual assets for various advertising campaigns across different platforms.
- Conceptualize and Design: Collaborate with the creative team to develop visual concepts and design storyboards, layouts, and animations for advertising campaigns. Understand client briefs and translate them into compelling motion design solutions.
- Motion Graphics Creation: Create eye-catching and dynamic motion graphics, animations, and visual effects that align with the brand identity and campaign objectives. This includes designing and animating typography, logos, characters, and other graphic elements.
- Video Editing and Post-Production: Edit and enhance video footage, including color correction, audio synchronization, and visual effects integration. Ensure a seamless flow between different scenes and optimize video content for various platforms and devices.
- Asset Management: Organize and maintain a library of visual assets, including graphics, video clips, and animation templates, to streamline the production process and facilitate future projects.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the creative team to understand project requirements, provide input, and receive feedback. Collaborate with other designers, copywriters, and video producers to ensure a cohesive visual style across different advertising materials.
- Stay Updated with Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends, techniques, and tools in motion design, animation, and video editing. Apply new skills and knowledge to enhance the agency’s creative capabilities and deliver cutting-edge designs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Animation, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Motion Designer for 1-3 years, preferably in an advertising agency or creative studio environment.
- Proficiency in motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, or similar tools.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of motion design projects, including animated videos, visual effects, and dynamic motion graphics.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Knowledge of video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar applications.
- Familiarity with 2D and 3D animation techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within a creative team.
